Driving from Tirana to Vlora via Berat and then down the coast will cover most of Albania’s most beautiful and interesting destinations. The scenery through the Llogara Pass and all the beachside towns is spectacular and the highlight of a trip to Albania. Be aware that GPS systems in Albania are rarely accurate, if you get any coverage at all. Ask locals for directions before heading off on your road trip.
